#5 Meet Baksara: Where Javanese Language and Culture Is in Good HandsΒ

We would like to introduce you to one of the Top 20 Product-Based Capstone Projects in the Bangkit 2023 Batch 1. 🌟

Please meet Baksara, a group of Surabaya students from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Universitas Surabaya, and Universitas Kristen Petra. They shared the same vision: to preserve the Javanese language and culture. πŸ“š

Therefore, they are motivated to create Baksara, an innovative app to promote and preserve the Javanese language and culture among middle and high schoolers. This innovation led them to get the IDR 120 million incubation fund from Google and Dikti. πŸ’°Β

β€œWe hope the development of Baksara could help middle school and high school students' learning process. Some schools in Surabaya are very welcome to this innovation and look forward to using this app,” said Rony Hartono Irawan, the CMO of Baksara. 🏫

Your students are currently going through a journey that is worth fighting for. They are striving to grow into a reliable tech talent. Therefore, your support for them matters. To help them with their progress, especially regarding the capstone project, assist them in finding clarity in their goal, just as Achmad Nashruddin Riskynanda said:

β€œThe key to capstone success is the strength and clarity of your project goals. You must understand what kind of problem you want to solve with your team and how far your innovation will impact society. Good luck with your capstone project!”
(Achmad Nashruddin Riskynanda, Bangkit 2022 Batch 1 Graduate, the CCO of Baksara)
