Dear Contributors,

We sincerely thank you for your dedication and commitment to our program participants. Your efforts in educating them with valuable skills will undoubtedly benefit them. 🚀

Your students will soon embark on their capstone projects, where they will put into practice the concepts you have taught them. The foundation you have provided will equip them to excel in this final project. 🔎

In the meantime, while we await the positive results of your students’ capstone projects, we would like to provide you with some important information:

#1 Yes, Bangkit Won’t Be Running in the Spring Semester (Semester Genap)

After running for 5 years in a row, we realize that the utmost strength of Bangkit relies on its highly structured curriculum. 📑

With the current need for AI-trained graduates in industry, we want to ensure that Bangkit strengthens AI talents in Indonesia. 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓

Therefore, we’re developing new learning paths and a new curriculum. We’re cooking something exciting for the next batch! 🥳🥳

And to provide students with robust and relevant materials of the highest quality, we need TIME to develop them ⏳

Therefore, with this plan, we would like to inform you, our dear contributors, that Bangkit will not officially be available in the Spring Semester (Semester Genap) starting in February 2025. 🙏

Please highly anticipate the next round of Bangkit in the Fall Semester (Semester Ganjil), August 2025🤞

We hope to come up with NEW learning paths, NEW specializations, and NEW certifications 🤩

#2 Regarding Your November Monetary Benefit

Dear Contributors & Mentors, we have successfully transferred the November monetary benefits to you.💰

For instructors, cash has been disbursed for all sessions you delivered in ILT SS 4 until ILT SS 5 and ILT Tech 3 until ILT Tech 4. 💸

We appreciate your time, commitment, and contributions to the program's success and the growth of our students. 🙏🏻

#3 Capstone Project Mentoring Sessions

Dear Bangkit Capstone Advisors, the Mid-Checkpoint Mentoring Session for Advisors has concluded. Thank you for the updates on your mentoring sessions. 🙏

Friendly reminder: You still have time to conduct mentoring until December 11, 2024. 📣

After the mentoring session ends, don’t forget to fill out the feedback through the Dicoding mentoring platform. ✅

Once you complete it, you can view feedback from the mentee directly on the platform. 📝

Feedback helps us recapitulate mentoring sessions to ensure precise incentive disbursement. 💰

#4 Fitroh Izatul Malkiyah, a Bangkit Graduate Who Teaches Us to Be Optimistic 

"I don't want you to get your hopes up too much about going to college. I might not be able to afford it all the way through."

Her mother's words didn't discourage Fitroh Izatul Malkiyah (23), a farmer's daughter from the Tegal Regency. She eventually managed to continue her studies at Universitas Amikom Purwokerto, funded by the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) Kuliah scholarship. Fitroh was determined to make the most of this opportunity. 👩‍💻

Fitroh aspired to be a digital talent. Therefore, she wholeheartedly dedicated her time to learning Android development in Bangkit 2023 Batch 2. ✒️

"The best part of learning Android in Bangkit was the submissions, which allowed me to practice. Learning without practice is meaningless." 🔬

After completing Bangkit, Fitroh, who once thought college was out of reach, successfully became an Android Developer at BIIS Corp. 💫
